Planned or scrappy, this fun pattern lets you create a look all your own. This versatile design looks great in contemporary, novelty, and traditional fabrics. Since the center blocks are cut at 10 � (you ll need 20), this pattern is layer cake friendly, too. The center patches are fused into place and then appliqued to anchor them to the quilt blocks before constructing the top. This means no wrestling the whole quilt top through your machine. It is surprisingly quick to assemble, making it a great gift quilt. The pattern was written to accommodate directional fabrics, so no matter what you choose, you ll have plenty of yardage.
