Description

This quilt creates magic with only four fabrics.  Foundation paper piecing is used to create two different four patch blocks, assembled in a manner which creates diamonds that advance and recede.  The tricks this quilt plays on one s eyes are created by color value.  There must be four distinct steps from dark to light between the fabrics used in the quilt.  The paper piecing pattern is simple, thus it is a good project for those new to this method.
